So break free, start enjoying what you want, not what is merely fashionable and correct in society. The next time you buy something, buy it because you like it, because its colour, its texture, its shape makes you interested in it and makes you smile, not because someone has told you this will keep your standing in society as one of the trendy people.
The next time you make friends with someone, do it because you like them, not because they are the coolest people to hang with and will make you look good in front of your peers. Be friends with them because they are nice, they are good people and forget what ranking society has given them. So many good relationships and opportunities for happiness have been destroyed because one person didn’t think it was cool to hang around with another. As young kids we didn’t care what our friends looked like or the way they acted. We only cared about having fun with them. It was only after being bullied by society that we changed our minds. So break free and get that genuineness back into your relationships. And you will find plenty of real love and happiness comes along with it too.
